To match genetic characteristics, the specific responses to the climate and market demands, the selection of Terra Nigra roses is carried out at various places in the world. This has resulted in a very special area linked assortment for the global market.

Currently, Terra Nigra has special selection sites in Kudelstaart Holland, Ecuador and Kenya where we work with local partners on the creation of suitable varieties for different markets.

Flowers of these newly selected codes are evaluated at resistance to transport damage and to botrytis. Many additional factors are looked at as well before the varieties will be commercialized and can be found in stores all over the world.
